Hey everyone, I'm a little stuck here; I ordered pilgrims-straight run was all that was available- and ended up with 2 ganders. I just can't have a goose that doesn't lay eggs...
I found a taker on one, but in a few more months (before sexual maturity) I need to get the other a new home. They are both friendly-though talkative when they see food-and have been raised very carefully-concerning their diets and coop hygene. My cousin offered to take my other gander, but she wants to eat it. I'm not against eating geese, but he is a pilgrim and very friendly, and I didn't raise him for someone else to eat.
So, I don't know where to place a male goose, most people are afraid of geese around here and I can't abondon him at a park-he has had no real life experience... can you help?
