Have to say very cute. I have about 30 pilgrim goslings due by May 4th. A few should be out of there eggs by the end of april. I could maybe get you a couple.

Ah! Very likely azhenhouse. Thing about Meyers is they don't try to pretend to be something they're not, they're small and they admit it. I've dealt with them quite often over the years and have always felt that they give straight answers. It does look like Metzer's is sold out for the near future too though. wow!

Oh, I too am looking for a newly hatched female gosling. My pet was killed earlier this week and i've been devastated. I usually hear, oh it's just a bird..get over it. But, she wasn't just a bird. She followed me everywhere! I'd work out in the yard clearing up what is left from the tornados of last summer and she'd be shuffling around in the leaves and under the wood i'd be moving around. And the other animals had habits with her. Our GSD protects all the critters here..we're on 20 acres of woodland with a horse farm to one side and woodland on the others. I've got a little banty hen who usually hangs pretty tight with the others but now i've got her as a house hen until I can be outside while she's out foraging. We've not had a problem with hawks before and i've taken every precaution for snakes, raccoons, possums, coyotes, cats and stray dogs, but the hawks usually go for the smaller birds and squirrels. The time of day had come for her to go to the duck and hen barn so out the dog and I go for our usual walk with Jax to pick up greens which she loves to have in her water pot to forage for during the hours inside. And a hawk flew up from the side of the deck with feathers floating off. Yes, my dear precious companion duck was dead. I pretty much went into shock. I mean, I've rehabilitated wild birds and animals over 20 years and have had my share of deaths. But this just took the wind out of me. My heart has been broken. I've been on a search for another fowl companion ( that just didn't sound right). But, i've not found her. I've hatched out goslings and ducklings, turkey poults and peafowl along with quail. I wasn't sure I wanted to hatch one this time but rather have a known female goose. I'm pretty close to Paris Tn and even closer to Paris Landing State Park. My hubby and I are both disabled vets so our lives are spent at home and pretty much on the lake fishing. We're pretty dull otherwise except for the antics of the pets. Jax Duc was a favorite around here as she followed Meiling our German Shepherd around yakking and quacking all the way and if she caught view of someone, she'd stand straight up tall and quack real loud as if in greeting. She was so darned silly. I'm babbling and rambling on. New to this forum so guess i'll post something in my profile. If any knows of a type of gosling I'm looking for or a special duckling, lemme know. I also take in ones who are disabled and give them a life as happy as we can make it. Thanks, Dale

I'm so sorry for your loss, you might try looking here, not many are willing to part with a female gosling only, have you tried local feed stores or TSC sometimes they have goslings, all the best in your search. https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/16182/animals-in-need-of-free-re-homing
