Pin Feather Hell, Please HELP Me!

I know I'm like a broken record with this, but make a Whizbang plucker. I had the same problem- it was taking me forever to do each bird. Knowing how well they work, I would literally have paid double what I did for mine. If you're growing enough of them to sell them, it will be WELL worth it.

My DH and I butchered a BR roo tonight, we tried the pith method to loosen the feathers and do a dry pluck. I figured if it didn't work, I would just skin it. It worked great! I was able to dry pluck the whole bird, and had no problems with the pin feathers. It's pithing for us from now on!
