We have some land that is covered with pine needles, grass and bushes....mostly pine needles though. Is it okay if we let poults on it ? Will they try to eat the pine needles? If so, will it hurt them? The property is fenced and nice and cool...something that they would appreciate , since it is so hot right now.

if they just walked on it but could get off it, im sure it's fine.. would they eat it? I wouldn't expect them to.

It's not good to keep them on pine needles all the time though as it's rather rough, and can cause bumblefoot.. occasional walking on it though. There won't be a reason to worry.
