pine shavings-

How much are you guys paying for your pine shavings for your coops? I pay around $5 for a compressed bale wrapped in plastic at TSC. I have not looked for it anywhere else, but I really like how it looks and how it keeps the odor down in the coop (so far). I am looking to keep using it as long as it does not break my budget! I am planning on raking this weekend, and will end up with several large piles of oak leaves-does anyone use those for bedding?
