I use shavings for the girls inside of house for bedding and on the floor. But my question is can I put pine straw outside in their yard because of the rain we have had the yard is so muddy and starting to stink.

I would try to rake it out as much as possible first...

but sure, try anything that you might have on hand.. especially if it is free.

I used 18" of free wood chips to get rid of mud.

"Wood chips" can I use kennel bedding like you get for dog houses? Mulch..

not sure what that is....

but mulch would work fine.. as long as it isn't anything toxic..


You don't want to use a highly aromatic wood.
