Pinemat manzanita/bearberry/kinnickinnick + rabbits

Hello all! I know common (and probably green-leaf?) manzanita, the traditional beautiful dark bark ones, are safe for rabbits to chew on, but does anyone know if pinemat manzanita is? I see multiple references to them never chewing on it in the wild and none in reference to safety for domestic rabbits so I'm erring on the same side until someone confirms. I just vigorously pruned our 1/3rd acre of manzanita shrubs and I'd love to put them to good use. We do have some green-leaf growing too, but not in any quantity to give regularly.
