Pink Poo

[can't get enough chicken]

One of my chickens is pooping pink instead of white. Is something wrong?

How old is your chicken? It could be a shed intestinal lining, which naturally occurs once in awhile...should be mushy blood not liquid. If you see liquid blood or all pink poo, that is abnormal.

She is almost 2 years old. It's solid but it is a lot lighter pink then the pictures.

Worms will kill a chicken. They are parasites and will literally suck the life out of them. Once you SEE evidence (whether it be lethargy, worms themselves, bloody poop, etc.), then you know it's bad. You need to worm all your chickens with Valbazen (a good, broadspectrum wormer) now, and again in 10 days. Do a search here for any posts by dawg53 and worms. He's the guru.
