Pinless peepers, Bumper bits and chicken diapers?!

I've heard it all now. I've been looking for ways to prevent my black australorp from attacking and ostracizing my sweet plymouth rock. I've run across all of the above listed items in my search. Pinless peepers for plucking prevention. Bumper bits for pecking prevention and diapers for those chickens who need to come inside and stay away from the flock (I had no idea these existed until today).

Has anyone had any luck preventing attacks? Or is my only option to kill the attacker?

I have no experience with the use of 'bumper bits', but pinless peepers can effectively control pecking issues. Chicken diapers - that's a story in and of itself.
