Pinless Peepers

Okay...my rhode island red won't stop pecking under the necks of the other girls....added extra protein.....hanging veggie toy......received my pinless peepers from eggcarton.com. My husband and I went out to put them on. Much to our dismay, our red's comb goes way far down her beak and the peepers would mash part of her comb.....Any and all suggestions???? Please??????? Also.....anyone experienced in putting them on...please help.....

I just put them on our birds tonight with no issues, just make sure you are doing it correctly. I have two RIR and no comb issues. They sure did shake their heads alot!

I've used them, too. I had my son hold the bird while I put on the peepers. It helped to have the extra set of hands both putting them on and, more importantly, removing them.

I used them for about a week and the picking habit ended.
