Pip through the yolk.. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does a chick pipping through the yolk mean certain death?!?!?!?! I have one that did and there is a little drop of ooze but it's not like dripping out of the egg or anything... It was still moving last I checked.. Does it have a chance?!?!!

Give it time absorb the yolk. could take up to 24 hours from pip to hatch.....

I think the chick would be fine, the yolk is held in a sack. If you don't see blood, don't worry about it....

No.. No blood at all.. You can see a bead of fluid that is kinda coagulated but it's not dripping out or anything.. just right there with the pip... I haven't seen any movement in quite a while but I know they rest a lot too... I will keep my fingers crossed but have already prepared myself in case it don't make it... Thanks...

I have one that has done the same! quite lot of yolk has leaked out but no blood. Did your chick make it?
