Had an egg pop lunchtime nothing happened since. Chick alive as candles to check and moving around area which is pipped and is in the air sac.
Any advice please

I wouldn't worry yet. It seems like I always have a few lazier chicks that spend A LOT of time pipped before zipping. Just keep an eye on the membrane and make sure it isn't drying out and shrinking wrapping the little babe and try to be patient. :)

Thanks, can't see any membrane yet as still covered, is it worth spritzing the shell to keep moist?

Hatched overnight but so devastated it went head first down edge of incubator and out of everywhere to go it did it at inch wide water channel and drowned. So angry I didn't stay and watch it hatch to make sure it was ok and I removed the tissue from the edge as last chick pooped on it and forgot to replaced and now lost a really gorgeous chick

I am going too just felt gutted and upset as was my fault. Since found out the auto turner in the bator is designed to be flipped over and would have prevented it but the instructions didn't say to
That's too bad.....Things happen.....
Enjoy the living.....:frow
