first hatch for 2009
today is day 20th. and have 2 fuzzy butts
that came early this morning. I have 9 more to go.
all my own eggs, Hoping for a few more.
Do they all stay together until day 24
in the bator?
to make sure of more hatching
or as they fluff up
should they be put into the brooder
with feed and water?
any advice?

I leave mine in the incubator for about 24 hours - dried and fluffed out - then move them to the brooder. I guess it depends how many chicks you have in the incubator as to whether or not you could leave them all in there. My bator always gets so dirty during the hatch so I want them moved out as soon as they are dry and mobile.

My new 1588 bator is really doing its work have
a total of 5 now and hoping the rest pop
out to play..LOL
