Pippi has a weird growth for a spur

Pippi was rescued out of a canyon so I don't know her history. I do know she likely broke the leg with a lump on it. I'm not sure how far along at healing it is, but she gets around just fine. I'm wondering about this weird bump she has where a spur should be. It feels more like flesh and is flexible unlike my rooster's spur. It's also faded white most of the way down like dry skin. It doesn't seem painful to her. Has anyone seen something similar before? I'm guessing it's benign. I figure since I'm doing a thousand other things to get her healthy again I might as well check everything just in case. She's a barnyard mix of some kind with barred rock coloring and a big floppy comb.

Ignore her long claws. She came with them. She's recently learned that there's enough room for her to scratch/dig/take all the dust baths so I'm letting her file them down naturally.
