pipping but no noise?

i have a runner duckling hatching... it has pipped and you can see the egg actively moving but there is absolutely no sound! you can hear it pecking at the egg. but nothing! is that normal?

It's probably fine. Even if it isn't, I doubt there's much you can do about it.

yeah true. i see it moving and hear it pecking! its just not crying lol

As I recall, my Seramas where pretty quiet. Or maybe I was so excited I couldn't hear them!
