Pipping to Hatch...How long until the chick comes out?

I have my very first egg pipping out, it started last evening around 9;00pm and this morning it was opened a little bit more and I could watch the hole move but very little. How long will it take for this chick to break out?

Sometimes it can take about 24 hours so don't worry. They take lots of naps in between. Good luck!

Chickens, turkeys, pheasants, and quail all seem to take about 24 hours from external pip to hatch, in my experience. Ducks 48 hours.
