It would look the same as in a yard just well shaded. You should also get some help with bedding/litter at least in the fall.
Predator protection is a premium. Ventilation still of utmost importance.
Use your imagination!

Mine is in a similar location. Partly sunny, they get to choose. Worms falling from above make them happy, limitates the predators from above. I like it a lot!
Not o sunny so it takes longer to dry in the spring. So I lay down old boards so my chickens don't have to have wet feet.
