Plants for the run

Hello, I live in Oregon and want to plant some sort of climbing vines for the chicken run. Something the chickens can eat, grow fast and look pretty. Any ideas? The spot is mostly shade and stationary. Thanks!

I gaurantee you that if you plant ANYTHING in the run, it will never see maturity!

i have the ducks in the yard. they will eat zuchinni leafs, pumpkin leafs and bell and other pepper lefs but they will leave tomatoes leafs alone

How about Malabar spinich? I would start them in small pots, transplant them to the outside of the run, protect them for a couple of weeks, maybe by placing plywood sheets INSIDE the run, then remove the boards when the plants are about 3 feet tall and let the gourmets loose on them.
