We have 7 ducklings that we would like to free range but I am concerned about what plants are safe for them. We would like to change our landscaping to be completely duck safe. We would also like to make a living fence as we just found out that our neighbor is a child sex offender and we have two kids! Please help!

Google can help you discover different herbs and plants that are poisonous. Don't let ducklings eat greens until three weeks of age.

Willow makes a good living fence. You can stick the branches in the ground and interweave them to make a fence. Once they get established just trim the willows to keep them at the height you want.

we went to lowes and found some one gallon fescue grasses to put around our pond. Blue fescue and a couple red stripe fescue. Wanted to make sure they were ok for ducks

All the fescues I have found at Lowes are treated. Make sure you read the packaging really well before doing seed. The only safe grass seeds I have found specify they are for grazing. The fescue says right on the package not for eating.

These fescue are already growing to 1 foot tall ready to dig a hole and plant. Not seed

I've never heard of a fescue until today. Is THAT what you call those weird grass bumps you see some people have covering their yards in lieu of a flat lawn?
