Is it possible to distinguish their sex through playful fighting? For example, I have two Japanese Onagadori, one of them is already crowing at 12weeks old while the other one isnt...yet? Also whenever they (ayam cemani, onagadori, and silkie are “playful fighting”, their mane would raise up. Does that automatically mean they are rooster but are late bloomer when it comes to crowing? The Ayam Cemani’s mane do raise up, just couldnt capture it in the picture. Am I even making any sense with my question(s)???

I dunno about that, but the three in the first picture do strike me as cockerels. You have a unique and beautiful flock! Oh, and, I'm guessing the Ayam Cemanis are pullets. How old are your lovelies?
Thank you, one of the Ayam and Silkie are 14 weeks old while the other Ayam and both Onagadori are 12weeks old. The Onagadori were never meant to be part of my flock, they were given to me for free. I REALLY hope you’re wrong about the first three because if you’re right about the three cockerels, Im going to have to get rid of one of the Onagadori and Silkie. :( Cant keep all three roo.

Aww. Yes, hopefully I'm wrong, but I just looked at the picture of the first three again, and I'm positive those two Onagadoris are cocks. I'm pretty pretty sure the silkie is, too, but the Cemanis still look like pullets. :) Can you not keep roosters where you live, or would three just be too much?

I can only keep one roo where I live. I definitely know both Onagadoris are roo, kinda sucks how they have to be both roo.
