Playing chicken

I'm new at raising chickens. My chickens are 3 weeks old. I was wondering why my chickens start acting up and playing chicken with each other when I come to feed them. They are so quite when I open the shed door to check on them. When they hear my voice, start acting up and jumping around trying to fly. I don't know if they are scared or just trying to play

That's a good question cuz mine does the same thing but mine are approx 6-7 weeks old but It's like they get excited to see someone
