I have 4 roosters and do not want to stress out my 5 hens, so I am needing to find new homes for 2 of my roosters. When we purchased these they were too young to determine the sex. I really hate to let them go but I don't want them to hurt each other and/or overwhelm the hens. I am not sure of the breed, any ideas? Would anyone like to adopt them or one? I really do not know their ages, we've had them since August 16, 2009 and we were told they were only a couple months old then. They are definately at the mating age now. I am requesting pick up only, located in Claxton, Georgia. I am asking $5.00 each.
** Thank you to the BYC members who let me know that these guys are not Silkies, as I was told by the person I purchased them from a few months ago. After looking at some pics I thought maybe they were mixed. Sorry for the wrong info. I am a "New Egg" with chickens and really appreciate any knowledge shared by experienced "Eggs".
