Please advise!

Hi everyone,

Today is day 21 of my chicks hatch date and I haven’t heard any peeps from the eggs. These eggs have been under my broody silkie. Before day 18, I have been candling the eggs and it seemed as the embryos were healthy and developing. However, since today is day 21, I still haven’t heard any peeps nor has there been pipping.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what’s going on or if they chicks are still alive?

Remember, 21 days is just a guideline...a couple of days before or after that is considered within a "normal" hatching range. I'd just keep an eye on them for now. Best of luck!
