And also, my rooster is loosing feathers around his neck, why is this? And my chckens are pecking each other like their eating bugs off of each other, is this normal too/

Are they crowded or lacking protein? I would supplement with a bit of catfood and black sunflower seeds. My roo is missing some neck feathers because that dummy is letting the girls pick at him!

My rooster will just lay there and let several girls pick at his feathers and his comb like they're grooming him. And some of them pull his feathers pretty hard, too. He's the most patient man I've ever seen, LOL. I'm just waiting till they start feeding him grapes on a chaise lounge.
During and after dustbathing, they'll pick dirt and stuff off each other, too.
