Cockerel comb and wattles develop much sooner than a pullet. The comb and wattles of a pullet develop around the time they're old enough to lay eggs while a cockerels are getting bigger around six weeks of age or sooner depending on breed. Also, hackle and saddle/tail feathers would be coming in if your birds were cockerels.Thanks very much for the reply,
