please critique horse video

That is one horse I would not work in a round pen, at all.

No, that was just an 'old fashioned farmer'.

Well we will agree to disagree then. Round penning, like any training tool, does not fit every situation. I don't think round penning a Draft-Friesian two year old is a good idea. Too, for what she needs mentally, I would want her close up to her handler all the time. Ponying, handling, hand grazing, leading.

If she cannot, then she needs to start somewhere else to get to that point. Honestly, spending any amount of time with the horse is a good idea, even if you are just standing on the outside of the fence talking to her.
