Please give me your chicken dusting techniques

I have DE, I'm just not sure how to go about this.

1. If the weather is dry, put some where they dust-bathe.

2. Put some in a sock that's suspended next to the coop doorway or nesting box. They'll brush against it every day.

3. Dust the coop & roosts.

I already tried to dust the area where they dust bathe (in my garden). They moved to a different spot
