We recently hatched 11 lil chicks using a broody. She is an awesome mama, but from the start we’ve been keeping her and the chicks inside the house in a proper set- up, until we can expand the coop, and pen/run. We lately put her and her chicks in the newly expanded area, but something terrible happened, she STARTED PECKING AT THEM VICIOUSLY!! We desperately moved her back inside into her former set-up w her chicks, and she took right to them like a broody should!!! It’s like she doesn’t recognize her own chicks when they are outside w her!!! What would be the best course of action??? Plz help!!!
