Hey please help , my friend coop had 2 chickens like that last week and from no where 3 chickens died and this week so he lost 5 chickens a feel of them was like that , we injected penicillin in one and she got better but looks to me is spreading quick what should we do he have 40 birds

seems breathing is difficult. with open beak

Its kinda hard to read your text.

I would isolate the infected ones from the others.Providing high protein treats like eggs and tuna may help.From what your saying it sounds like a severe respiratory diseases such as Mycoplasma Gallisepticum or Infectious bronchitis.Most respiratory diseases cant be cured but you can reduce symptoms by administering Tylan 50(Which can be found in the cattle section at any feed store)

Tylan 200 dosage for large fowl is 0.5ml into the breast muscle about 1cm.
Bantam hen give between 0.1-0.2ml
Bantam roo give between 0,2-0.3ml
Give and follow up injection 48 hours later.

Tylan 200 is 0.06 ml per pound twice a day. Orally
