Seriously, if this is a problem, you will see other signs, like lethargy or failure to thrive, not keeping up in growth or eating with the rest of the chicks, etc. If she is actually gasping for air, she probably wouldn't be standing.

Chickens do the "burp" all the time.

BTW, looks like a Crevecoeur, to me.
