Please help ! Basically we had three hens start sitting on eggs. Between them 4 chicks hatched and when I went in there today to check on them, I found an egg that had a chicken in side. It was alive, cheeping and seemed to be ready to hatch. The only problem was that the mum had left it to care for the other chicks so it’s membrane had hardened. In fear of shrink wrap I put it straight into the incubator. I then searched what to do for a hardened membrane around a chick a and it said that just to damp the membrane with warm water to stop it sticking and killing the chick, so I did. But what should I do because it still has its egg sack and everything else a normal chick would have when hatching but I don’t know if because it still has its egg sack that it’s premature, any suggestions? What should I do ? Any answers will be highly appreciated. Thanks 🙏 .

No but there was some dry blood but I am assuming that it was from the membrane.
Those are good signs! What I've read about early hatch is to put them in a small lined cup and let them finish growing, like a preemie baby. Do you have anything that will fit in incubator?
