Please help, egg placement and blood rings!

I have an automatic egg turner in my hovabator, and I THOuGHt I was suppose to out the eggs, big end down, small end up, well I'm pretty darn sure I'm wrong! I have had a ton a blood rings and out of 9 eggs so far only one popped and it's day 22, and I think it popped on the small end? Can't remember, not home currenty. I have 12 more eggs in the bator at day 14 and some look to be forming and other not/blood rings. Am I getting these blood rings because there upside down? Temp and humid is perfect, please help and tell me if I should flip the eggs left in the bator over even tho it is day 14 or am I just screwed and killed most of my babies? NEWBIE here at hatching dagnabit!!!!!!!!

Hate to say but you are correct...they are upside down. The air sack forms at the big end which should be up in the automatic turners. I am a rookie too on my third hatch so would not want to give any advice on turning them...other than I would think by this time it would be too late??? Best to wait on advice from one fo the pros. Oh man I feel like the biggest idiot, and now I think the other 12 in the bator are basically screwed. I posted on this forum asking why I was getting blood rings and lots of them, and Im doing everything right, BESIDES placing them in the right position you dum dum! Gosh this ruins my Easter to know it's my fault not other things, grrrrrrrrr!
