No i purchased 6 chicks total from tractor supply they were all supposed to have been Hens and now it seems i got 5 Roo's and 1 Hen..

That is horrible!!! That's worse then straight run from a hatchery.


Do you have other sources for chicks? If so I would go that route next time.

I don't know of any local but im def going to research and find someone.

I have to say the number of males sold as females at TSC is staggering.
I feel very blessed that in over 140 sexed chicks I have only had 3 accidental roosters.
