Hello,

I love this forum! Anytime I have a question that my chicken book doesn't answer this is where I go for my chicken answers. I bought some chicks from a hatchery and I am trying to ID them. I thought this would be a fun project for my daughter and I to figure out who is what breed. Ummm out of 15 chicks we can confidently ID only 3....I hear you laughing...its OK I laughed also..I know what breeds i should have and thought that would clue me in as to who was who. No success. They are supposed to be all pullets but they did give me a surprise chick. We don't know breed or sex of the chick. Since they are only a few days old I'm more interested in breed than sex....if my surprise chick is a little roo I can handle that and knew that when I placed my order. There are 5 different chicks pictured in these pictures. As I was writing this post I realized it was overwhelming. So I'll post some pictures of the other ones later. Thank you in advance for your help.

The first is an Easter Egger. Adorable.
Second is a Black Jersey Giant.
Third is a Lavender Orpington.
Fourth is (maybe) another Easter Egger.
Fifth is an Ancona.

I’m new to this also but 7 and 8 look like my blue Andalusians. I’m curious what #11 is. I have a chic like that also!! Cute babies :)
