please help I'm devastated. I'm at day 9 and the power went out

its around 35 minutes now. I placed a blanket over the bator and I'm panicking. The embryo was moving earlier and this incubator is made out of shoebox carton

Do what you can to keep it as warm as possible in there, without compromising ventilation in the incubator, but don't worry if the eggs go cold. Chick embryos are remarkably tough little things can handle even lengthy cool down periods, as long as they don't get freezing cold. Good luck with your hatch and fingers crossed the power will come back on soon!

Thanks it more then an hour and half. My fingers are crossed too. I'm just a bit teary at the moment
