My friend was told the two larger reddish brown chicks were Columbian Rock Crosses by the Tractor Supply store they were purchased from. Could this be correct? From a quick look, I thought they were Rhode Island Reds. --- Thanks in advance.
(The others are Black Sex-Links, an Australorp and a Buff Orpington.)

The red chicks look like they could be Rhode Island Reds, Production Reds or Red Sexlinks. Maybe a Buff Orpington hiding amongst them? The black chicks look just like my Black Sexlinks, so that'd be my guess for those (unless they have feathers on their legs, do they? Its hard to tell from the pic).

-- And no feathers on the legs. There are two Black Sex-Links in there and also the smaller light orange is a Buff Orpington. The third black one in the batch is supposed to be an Australorp. --- I think the Tractor Supply she was in was confused. Their brooder bin sign and the clerk both said "Columbian Rock Cross" for the two bigger reddish ones. I told my friend I thought the bigger fellas looked more like what you say...first guess Rhode Island Reds.

I'll get an updated pic from her once they grow up a bit more.
