Please Help Me My Quails Are Pecking Each Other

Lately I got so many injured birds most tof them are the white coturnix , seems no one likes them ,in second place are the manchurian color

please what should I do

some birds are totally scalped.

mostly coming from a pen with 40 hens and about 10 boys

Oh NO! so sorry for your troubles!

how big is the pen they are all in? They will pick on each other if there are territorial disagreements /overcrowding. And also, it seems that the whites just annoy the other colors..especially browns or so i'm told. MY whites tend to pick on each other over space. There may be too many roos(are you SURE all the hens are really hens? whites are so hard to sex.)
Sometimes if you hang a head of lettuce or other greens / give them fresh whatever like apples( cut out the core!) , oranges cut in half, broccoli heads or even handfuls of young fresh grass shoots in the cage they are distracted from fussing with each other by that.
add a few sand boxes for them to bathe in as that also seems to relax them.

40 hens and about 10 boys

THERE'S PROBLEM NUMBER1... 40 HENS TO 5 OR 6 BOYS WOULD BE MORE PEACEFUL... ALSO WHAT KIND OF SPACE DO THEY HAVE PER BIRD? OVERCROWDING MAKES THEM MORE CRANKY
