Please help me! One of my Easter eggers laid her first egg today and hours later she became lethargic and is panting like she’s over heated. Is this a somewhat normal behavior after laying a first egg?

Hello! Do you have calcium citrate on hand? Or Tums? Calcium citrate is better, but Tums will do until you can get the good stuff. I would dose her twice a day. For a few days. She may have another egg coming right after the first one. @Rkirby1

You could also do an Epsom salt bath.
