Just wanted to share the success!
I put babies in a box and hid them in the coop so she could hear them but not see them. Then after a few hours I did the swap one by one and also gave her two broken egg shells, the babies must have come from somewhere, right? Haha.
I was really pleased to see all four OK this morning with a big growl from then hen to not touch HER babies!
Here are the four all asleep in my old hat before going to their new mommy.
