Please Help My Chick Is Not Acting Right

my 3 day old chick is just not acting right its eyes arnt really open and he/she is just grogy and stands their doing nothing while the other chicks play and jump around! i had to help him hatch after 10 hours being stuck with only one leg out getting no where i felt so mad and it just gone down hill from there and i hate to cull him is that wat i should do?

This is the reason I don't help chicks hatch...there is usually a reason they can't hatch on their own and then I almost always ended up having to cull them instead of letting mother nature take her course in the first place.

If it's not eating and drinking then you can either let it slowly die or do the kinder thing and cull it.

You can try giving it infant iron free vitamins. Maybe it just needs a boost. Try feeding it scrambled eggs too. I helped a chick hatch and he is now a healthy, happy 8 month old cockerel. Every situation is different, go with your instincts as to treat or not.

well i tryed pumping it with pediolight and it died soon after it was eating a little and drinking and it held on and i tryed to save it i think there was something wrong from the start b/c he just didnt come out right but i guess i learned my lesson
