Please help. My black chicken named Magic is really struggling this is day three of her unable to move. I found her looking as if she was dirt bathing but it soon became clear she was immobile. I have been by her side since doing everything I can to make her comfortable she can’t hold herself up on her own, he neck turns odd and she only wants to be laid nicely on one side where she has been. Her symptoms align with a heat stroke, and she’s seven years old although she just seemed perfectly fine. She’s had to change an environment so there could be many things that could’ve gone wrong. I’m just really worried and need help. I’ve also gotten her vitamins that I’ve been pretty much force-feeding her vitamins through a syringe, although she does drink it when I put a little bit in her mouth. Please help I hate seeing her struggle I’ve read posts of chickens pulling through so I’m doing my best to care for her but I hate seeing her suffer unable to move. She pooped twice yesterday once in the morning and once in the late afternoon it was kind of watery and had white in it. I checked for egg bound don’t feel anything. Although she seems paralyzed she’s not because she will grip my finger with her feet.

Hi and welcome! @DelaniDrew

So sorry your girl is struggling. If you suspect heat stroke did you give her any electrolytes? If you have gatorade with sugar or pedialyte that could work. I keep something called guardian angel for my flock. Or you can make your own. 1 tsp sugar with a pinch of salt and baking soda in a cup of water and syringe it to her.
The sugar will give her a little energy.

Is there anything in the new environment that could be toxic? Mold, chemicals, something she could have eaten?

With her neck turning oddly you could give her a human B complex and vitamin E to see if that helps.

How does her crop feel? If she hasn't been eating much it should be flat and empty.

Is she still laying eggs?

Did you feel her legs and hips to see if there could be an injury?

A picture of her might also be helpful.
