I am very new to hatching, and this is my first time hatching guineas. I have five, and one hasn't been walking right since it hatched (yesterday). Its feet slip sideways and I don't know if it has ever actually stood up. It's getting around in its own way, but I am really concerned since its wings will also sometimes shake. All of the keets were hatched under a broody hen. Please, please, if you have any advice let me know! I have to go away for a week and my family will be watching them, so if there is anything to be done I'll have to do it soon!
Thanks in advance!

Both legs slip out to opposite sides? Like it's doing the splits? If so that is splayed legs, you can brace it up with some vet wrap (or any self adhesive bandage/wrap) or even a band aid cut in half lengthwise. Some people eve use pipe cleaners. Just something to keep the legs from spreading apart any farther than a normal keets legs should. The hip joints have been stretched out and need a couple days to heal, being held in the right position. Do a search for splayed leg or spraddle leg on BYC and you should pull up plenty of helpful threads. After you brace the legs you may have to help the keet up on it's feet for a while until it gets the hang of walking right, with the brace on.
