Please help need advice! Baby chick badly hurt

Enola my broody hen has a little chick and the baby must have gotten caught on the wire as the skin all around her neck looks like it was ripped off. I put mommy and baby in a brooder but Enola won’t settle. Unfortunately I found her just before I had to leave to go somewhere and won’t be back for a hour or two. I’m really worried and I really need advice on how to best care for this little chick. The little one seems to be in pain and shock so put a little sav a chick in their waterer. Do I need to put anything on it? I didn’t see the the wound very well as I was holding her while a family member carefully looked at it. The little chick’s name is Miracle as her hatching was such a miracle. If you can’t help please keep Miracle in your prayers.
I suggest perhaps use Aloe Vera gel on the wound several times a day. One of my cats was possibly chased by a predator one night and she ran under our garage door for safety. The door ripped off a large piece of her hid, it was oozing and looked very painful. It was about a 3x4 inch piece missing on her back. I grabbed the Aloe Vera gel and carefully applied it to the raw area. She licked on it some every time I put fresh jell on. Over time the large wound area closed up so you couldn't even tell she had that problem. No infection either. I had heard about Aloe Vera helping with new skin growth. This was amazing!

Thanks! I’ll have to look into that!

Cayenne pepper will stop bleeding, heal the injury & fight infection. It stings a llittle at first but goes away quickly. It works like that on people, too & stops heart attack & stroke when placed at back of throat, Amazing herb.
