We have 10 three day old chicks. One of them (Barred Rock) suddenly today started standing in one place, not wanting to move, seems like she was breathing heavily, but now the breathing heavy seems to have stopped.
She doesn't have pasty butt, but it seems like she may have a bit of a hard time pooping. I saw a tiny string of poop coming out and hanging there, so I wiped it away and tried stimulating her with a very warm wet cloth.
I offered her a syringe of sugar water twice and she took a bit once.
She is still in the brooder, but is confined to a separate box within the brooder. She is vocal, but not overly so.
All the other girls seem fine so far.
We are very worried for her and I am looking for any advice that may help her!!!
Thank you.

Anyone? She is still staying in just one spot, and she in mostly standing, not sitting or laying down. I'm wondering if there's anything I can do before it's bedtime.

I would not have separated her by herself. Watching the other chicks will stimulate her to eat/drink and will help keep her warm. I dont think theres anything else you can do. The more you mess with her the worse it will be. Make sure the environment is 95 degrees. If you dip her beak in the water a few times most chicks will take a drink. Be careful syringing things into the chicks mouth as they tend to aspirate almost everything. As long as they are eating a good chick starter feed and in the appropriate environment (and the others are doing well) Im inclined to think maybe she was a weak hatch or potentially some other problem that made her more predisposed to succumbing to the stresses of being a little chick.
