I will be helping sell about 12 of these Hand Raised EMDEN geese for someone but don't know what to charge for them, have not a clue. I am told they are pure bred. They want them sold as PETS ONLY.

Any suggestions for me. They would be a pick up in NJ as I am most likely not going to get involved in the big boxes and I only have 2 swan size boxes anyway.

I appreciate any input geese people. Thanks

It really depends on if your friend wants to make money on them, or make sure they go to great homes. I live in Washington State and would probably sell an adult goose for around $20. Maybe do a package deal at 2 for $30. If they aren't adults, I'd go less. I personally would love some more geese, but am not in the market to buy. If some came along at a reasonable price or for free like the 5 I just recently got, I would consider it. With winter coming it's a lot harder to get the price you'd be able to get in spring. I'd maybe check Craigslist to see what they're going for on there. Good luck.

We always want to sell for 'pets only'.

How do you enforce something like that?? When they are gone your freinds will never know anything about them unless they plan on keeping tabs on them. Worn is right. Selling them now may be harder since we are going into winter.
FYI, I had a friend take two male pilgrims to the auction, he said that they sold for $4 each.

THe people (live in a nearby town) want them out of there asap but want them to have good homes. My friend who workd for animal control had gotten the call from them and she asked me if I could help and I said I would try.

I just left a phone message asking to let me know the sexes if they can.

I believe they started with a pair and ended up with a dozen and it is too much for them.
