Hi there BYC community,

My husband and I got 6 pullets this season and 1 of them turned out to be a rooster. He is great for our hens but our neighbors just told us they cannot stand him anymore and we need to get rid of him. Can anyone please help us to save him? My husband and nephew hold him and it saddens me to have to give him away but we must do something immediately. I thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

We are in the same boat. We have a buff orphington roo who is the sweetest bird ever. Unfortunately we live in Oakland and roosters are illegal. If you have any leads on how you were able to place your roo please let me know. Thanks and good luck!
