HI My chicks hatched yesterday and one of them didnt hatch do you think i should throw it away I dont want it to explode! thanks!

your hatched chick can live 2 days without food because of the yolk. Wait 2 days and see~ is it moving?

We need more information here, I think. When was the hatch due date? As a general rule, you can leave the unhatched eggs in the 'bator until day 25. Now, if you smell a rotten smell coming from the egg, then yes, chuck it.

OMG, you've got so "rich" valuable information so i can't give you better than them did.

i just want to sleep now, it's midnight now here. 11:52 PM. good night everone. (i don't know if it's prohibited or not to just saying good night in BYC, forgive me)

And don't ever toss an egg without candling for movement and opening the air cell end carefully first. You'd be surprised how many eggs that are viable are thrown out or killed by people assuming they're dead instead of just LATE.

At 24 hours after the others hatch I candled the unhatched. But I'm very certain of my timing here. Then I open as if I'm helping - just a small hole to check for life through at the air cell end. Many times I'm met with wiggle and a stuck chick. Whether that egg came out of the incubator or unhatched from under a hen. So it does pay to check carefully.
