After a few days of my chick, Sprinkles, not eating as much as usual I realized she was all puffed up, head tucked in & tail down. Very sluggish as well. I thought it was sour crop but her crop so I removed her from the flock & took her inside. But in the morning her crop was normal. Then, the white runny poop came. More pasty actually. So I found it was probably coccidiosis. I put Corid/Amprol liquid in her water immediately. Also sprinkled powdered milk on her food. She seemed better in less than a day! Head up, tail up, cleaning her feathers, singing... I was so happy! Then, this morning (day 2 of Amprol) she is all tucked in & puffed up again & not eating as much. Her crop is HUGE & it was that way this morning. She has no access to food at night, only water. Her right wing is dragging a bit, maybe due to the crop being so big?? It's spread to her right side. I have been giving her plain yogurt & she eats it... a little. I also tried giving her her favorite, boiled egg yolks, mixed with a little water & olive oil. She barely touched it. She will eat normal egg yolks & chick start. I just don't want to make the problem worse!!! Is this maybe because she barely ate for days then when she felt better she ate like a glutton??? Someone please help, I love this little girl. She is the sweetest thing.

She may have an impacted crop. If this is the case, she may need crop surgery. Hold her food and see if her crop is empty by morning. Put some liquid vitamins in her water. I use Poly-vi-sol.

Thank you so much fro your response. Can I add Vi-tal or Save-a-chick while I'm giving her Amprol? I was told to hold that while I'm treating her with Corid for coccidiosis. I'm very new to this. I'm so scared I will have to make her throw up or use a syringe to make her ingest mineral or olive oil as I hear it's dangerous & I am so afraid I will mess up & hurt her.
