Please Help Sick Turkey Chick!!!

I have four 3 day old Royal Palm turkeys. One cannot walk and wont keep its eyes open. I just lost one this morning and I have been doing everything I know of to help them. The place I bought them from is having trouble keeping their turkeys alive as well so they have no advice. I dont know if it is dehydrated or something? If anyone has any information that could help, please do so before I lose this baby too.

Are they eating and drinking? Turkeys need to be shown how to eat and drink for the first week of life. I would add some brown sugar to the water, 1 teaspoon per quart for some quick energy. They also require a beginning brooding temperature of 100 degrees. So if not kept warm enough and shown the food and water they will not survive. Put shiny glass stones in the waterer and feed, make sure they are on paper towels as they will eat shavings. Use your finger to tap like a mom turkey, they should copy your behavior. The really weak ones probably have low blood sugar so get some sugar water in them and see if they perk up after an hour.

Thank you. I will try the sugar water for the weak one. The others are eating and drinking fine.
