Well I now that the first three are silkies! Not sure about the other yet. How old are they? Right now it just looks like the first one and maybe the last ones are roosters.
They were all hatched about 2/14/13. The little white one has four toes, feathered feet. The other two little ones have five toes. Are you sure about the last one being a roo? The three large were suppose to be girls, while the bantams were too young to tell. Thank you for your help.
Okay so the five toe ones are Silkies for sure, the four toed white one must be a mix not sure what with though. I am not positive about the ginger, it has more comb growth than the others however that doesn't mean anything. In the second picture I can see a little more of it's tail and now it looks a bit more henish. Any spur buds? That might be another way to tell.
I don't think so. That's pretty good. Did you buy them as girls ( I know you said you did the big ones) . If you hand picked them you have a very lucky eye! Silkies though are always hard for me to tell 'cause they take forever to develop. Just keep an eye on that first black on and tell him girly stuff and give him bracelets and dresses and stuff and it should turn just fine!! LOL

I will do that. Yes, the three large ones were sold as girls. The bantams were the luck of the draw. I feel they are all girls based on behavior, although the little white one does some face to face flighty dancing with the other ones, whatever that is?
